An Australian Apprenticeship is a learning pathway that combines paid on-the-job training and formal study with a Registered Training Organisation. An apprenticeship is usually three and a half to four years in duration and is a pathway to becoming a qualified trades person.
Australian Apprentices can be school leavers, adults re-entering the workforce or simply just looking for a career change or can event be secondary school students undertaking a school-based apprenticeship arrangement.
