Pre-Apprenticeship Program
Master Builders will help prepare you to become the best 1st-year carpentry apprentice.
This 3-week entry level training program provides an introduction into both the industry and a carpentry trade prior to commencing an apprenticeship.
Entry requirements
- Complete an application form for a Master Builders Apprenticeship
- Complete the Master Builders online aptitude test and Quescreen medical questionnaire
- Complete an interview with a Master Builders recruitment representative
You will need
- A resume
- Drivers licence (or working towards one)

Participants in our pre-apprenticeship programs will learn to
- Build house frames
- Safely use hand and power tools
- Take measurements and calculations for project work
- Manual Handling
- Work safely at heights
- Apply first aid
- Effectively demolish part of a structure
