Onboarding for Master Builders Apprentices will normally take place face-to-face at the Master Builders Education Centre.
During the Onboarding process, the Master Builders Recruitment Officer will confirm that you have read and understood:
- The Letter of Offer and the Employment Contract
- The accompanying documentation that was provided with the Letter of Offer and Employment Contract
- The Master Builders Apprentice Handbook
Employees will be provided the opportunity to ask any question regarding their employment during this process and seek any clarifications they may have regarding the Master Builders Apprentice Handbook.
Master Builders will organise for the Australian Apprentice Support Network Provider (AASN) to attend the Employee Induction and Onboarding.
The AASN will explain and provide details pertaining to the Training Contract, the services that they offer, and outline the next steps in the Apprenticeship Process.
All Master Builders apprentices must undertake mandatory Master Builders Safety Training prior to commencing employment and starting work on site with a Host Employer.
The Safety Training is provided at no cost and is incorporated into the Induction and Onboarding process.
Master Builders Safety Training includes:
- Work Safely at Heights
- Manual Handling
- Safe Use of Power Tools
