NSW has passed the 70 percent double vaccination target. This means that from Monday 11 October, many of the current restrictions that apply to the building industry, including the vaccination requirements for authorised workers will be removed.
From next Monday there will be no Public Health Order requirement designating LGAs of concern or the need for workers to be authorised to leave LGAs to go to work.
Also, from next Monday, there will be no requirement for construction workers to be vaccinated to work on occupied or unoccupied construction sites. The restriction of 2 workers working indoors at an occupied site will also be lifted.
Carpooling will be permitted for fully vaccinated workers and travel between Sydney and Regional NSW is allowed for work purposes. No permit is required.
