After spending 10 years recruiting within the engineering and construction sector, I’ve decided to enter the industry myself as an apprentice carpenter with the Master Builders Association of NSW.
So here’s a short but interesting story I wanted to share:
A few years ago, whilst I worked at Master Builders Association of New South Wales I had interviewed Jordan for a role as a first year apprentice which we had successfully employed and placed with a host employer to commence his on site training.
Fast forward to 2021, and I’m now employed as an (adult) carpentry apprentice with MBA and coincidentally, my first host employer is with Jordan (now a qualified chippy) and his brother Josh (business owner/chippy) at Noble Carpentry!
I guess it’s true, you do good for others and the world returns it to you when you least expect it!
