Nail gun injuries are common in residential construction*, approximately two-thirds of these injuries occur in framing work.
A study of apprentice carpenters found that:
- 2 out of 5 apprentices were injured using a nail gun during their 4 years of training,
- 1 out of 5 apprentices were injured twice and 1 out of 10 were injured three or more times
